Podcast E63 ~ Test and Tune
From Flips, Rides, and Silver Pride
Some stories start with a map.
Others start with a project.
Jarrod and Carin Weaver’s starts with both — and a wild sense of “let’s try it.”
These two Texans didn’t just stumble into the RV world . . . they tested it, tuned it, flipped it, and rode straight
through it before finding the travel life that finally felt like them. What began as a hobby and a hunt for good deals
turned into a journey that shaped the way they explore, connect, and find community on the open road.
And of course, like all good Texas stories, this one comes with a little grit, a little shine, and a whole lot of heart.
Flips, Fixes & Finding the One
Jarrod and Carin have owned more RV styles than most people can name — travel trailers, motorhomes,
projects that needed love, and ones that probably needed a miracle.
Each flip taught them something new: what they liked, what they didn’t, and what makes an
RV feel like more than just a box on wheels.
Eventually, the fun of flipping took a backseat to the craving for something lasting . . .
Enter Airstream.
Not because it was trendy . . .
Not because someone else told them to . . .
But because the moment they stepped inside, they felt it . . . this is home on the highway.
The polished aluminum wasn’t just pretty; it was a lifestyle they wanted to claim.
Unexpected Community, Familiar Vibes
One of the happiest surprises in their Airstream journey?
How familiar it felt.
Jarrod and Carin have spent years in the Harley-Davidson community ~ where the friendships are loyal,
the culture is deep, and the people show up for each other through everything.
So imagine their surprise when the Airstream world gave them the same feeling.
Wave from the highway? Check.
Strangers who instantly become friends? Yep.
Stories, humor, and that “you belong here” energy? Absolutely.
The Weavers like to say it best:
“Different wheels, same heartbeat.”
And honestly . . . they nailed it.
