I LOVE Surprise Parties . . .
And when we arrived in Quartzsite AZ to prepare for the
Holidays In The Desert Campout, we were invited to one!

Meet Tom ~ It is his Birthday!

Melissa (his crazy partner in crime), along with Anna and Thom, planned this little dinner
at the local desert Yacht Club! They invited all their friends that had arrived
in town for the campout to come and surprise him. So, we all did!
After arriving and getting our drinks, Anna handed out party hats and
Melissa announced the SURPRISE! Tom was flabbergasted!
It was so cool to see his expression and I thought I got the shot, but just missed it.

Until tonight, Tom had never had a Surprise Birthday Party.
The group did well and Tom seemed to have a great time.
