Podcast E60 ~ Alumapalooza
A Gathering at the Heart of Airstream
Each year, Airstreamers from across the country roll into Jackson Center, Ohio —
the hometown of Airstream — for Alumapalooza, a long-running rally that celebrates
the community, craftsmanship, and connection behind those iconic silver trailers.
Held over Labor Day week right at the Airstream factory, the event offers a mix of seminars, tours,
live music, and plenty of chances to meet fellow travelers who share a love for life on the open road.
This year’s rally brought together both new and familiar faces, each with their own stories and style of Airstreaming.
We sat down with longtime event coordinators Brett Greiveldinger and Lisa Forsyth, who’ve been
the heart behind Alumapalooza for more than 15 years. They joined us in the mobile podcast studio
to share their reflections, challenges, and memories from hosting an event that’s meant so much to so many.
While this year felt a bit different—and the future of Alumapalooza is uncertain—the spirit
of connection that brings Airstreamers together was alive and well. From impromptu campsite conversations
to watching the sunset over rows of polished aluminum, it’s those simple moments that always shine the brightest.

Whether Alumapalooza is there or not, the memories made in Jackson Center remind
us why we love this community so much. It’s not just about the rallies or big events —
